Every year we put together the Top 100 Marketers to Watch, and every year it starts the same way, with one person telling us about another. Three minutes, one name. You can stay anonymous if you would rather.
A few of the faces from last year's list. Some were nominated by a colleague, some by a stranger on the internet, a few by someone they had mentored years ago and never heard from again.

Then we go quiet, read every single one, and start building the list.
That is almost the point. You are not behind, you just never got the map, and a list like this is a very loud way of handing someone one. We have watched what happens next, and it is rarely small.
People have used their spot on this list to get the job, win the grant, land the keynote, pitch the book, and finally go out on their own. We did not do that for them. We just made the brilliant bit easier for other people to see.
Pick the one that fits best. If you are torn between two, tell us in the form and we will work it out at our end.
The people whose posts you screenshot and send to a colleague. Teaching out loud, in public, for free.
The ones doing the actual work behind brands you like, usually with a fraction of the budget everyone assumes.
Small teams and solo operators who treat clients like humans and still get results worth talking about.
Nought to three years in, career changers, accidental marketers. The category we are most protective of.
Marketing that leaves the world a bit better than it found it, done by people who were doing it before it was a trend.
Nominate anyway. Nobody has ever been left off for picking the wrong box.
Put a name inYourself or someone else, anonymously if you want. Three minutes, two short pages, and a box for why they deserve it.
Over winter, by hand, as a team. We weigh up the work, the impact, what they give back, and who they bring with them.
January 2027. Everyone on it gets their own spot, their links, and a graphic they can be insufferable about for a week.
Roughly three minutes. Your own name is optional, so you can absolutely do this as a secret admirer of someone's work.
Nominations close 1 December 2026. The list goes out in January 2027.
A list like this costs real money and a lot of team hours. These are the partners who have helped us pay for it over the years, and who got to stand next to a hundred brilliant marketers while they were at it.

Category sponsorship, a co-created resource for every nominee, and your name across the announcement. Early February is when it all happens.
None of us got into this for the accolades. But every so often it is worth being told, out loud and in public, that you are a bloody incredible human who is good at their job.
This list is a proper labour of love from our team. We read every nomination, we argue about it, and we always end up with a hundred people making marketing more human, more useful and a lot less gatekept.
So go on. Whose name have you been meaning to put forward?
Nominate for 2027A hundred marketers we think deserve watching, picked for the work they do and the way they do it. It started as a way to point at people doing brilliant things quietly, and it has become the thing our community looks forward to most.
Every name comes in through this form, from the community. From there we look at the work itself, the impact it has had, what someone gives back, and whether they make other people braver.
Yes, and plenty of people on past lists did exactly that. Picking the "myself" option just changes which questions you get.
We start drafting the list over winter. If you nominated yourself we will come back to you for anything missing. If you nominated someone else, we drop them a line so they can add their own up to date details.
1 December 2026, at 9am UK time. After that the form shuts and we get reading. The finished list is out in January 2027.
Not at all. The list has never been only for our people, and it never will be.
It takes three minutes and it might be the nicest thing anyone does for them this year.
