A milestone episode: 300 episodes of Alt Marketing School podcast. Fab shares 30 reminders: one for every 10 episodes it took her to learn them.

Knowing when to skip a trend is more strategic than knowing when to jump on one.

Here’s the lesson that took us five years to actually believe: you don’t need proof before you start. You need one person mad enough to say yes.

So to mark 300 episodes of Alt Marketing School, Fab is sharing 30 reminders. One for every 10 episodes it took me to learn them. Some are about marketing. Some are about business. Some are just, unfortunately, true.

Ask the uncomfortable question. Then actually listen to the answer.

Before we get into them, a quick moment to celebrate what this little corner of the internet has helped build. 300 episodes is not just a number on a podcast feed. It’s 150+ scholarship students inside our certification cohort, 260 marketing rebels inside our community, and over 30 partners who have backed us across five years. Add our free initiatives (Summer School, Open Week, Top Marketers, and the rest) and we’ve reached over 20,000 marketers. Which is, and I say this professionally, absolutely insane.

So if you’ve listened, shared, reviewed, joined a class, come to a live session, sent us a DM, told a friend, or quietly listened while making coffee and never told a soul, thank you. You’re part of this.

Right. Sentimental bit done. Listen to the episode for the full list.

Developing your gut instinct is one of the most underrated marketing skills there is.

The One Thing to Take with You

If there’s one thing we want you to take from 300 episodes, it’s this: you don’t have to become louder, slicker, trendier, or more palatable to build marketing that works.

You have to keep practising. You have to stay curious. In fact, be brave enough to tell the truth, even when the truth is “I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m willing to learn.”
