Is this the end of Clubhouse?

Over the last few weeks, several top executives from Clubhouse departures have raised concerns about its future. At the same time, the latest download numbers also point to trouble for the audio-only social app. Jess and Fab share some ideas for the Clubhouse team and innovative ways to bring the app back to life.

Instagram’s new strategy and pinned posts

After testing for the last few months, Instagram has officially launched its new option to pin posts on your profile, providing another opportunity to control your IG profile display. Instagram Chief Adam Mosseri has noted that Instagram’s looking for more ways to give creators control over their profile display, including potentially rearranging feed content.

Why everyone is flocking onto TikTok

Step away, UGC, a new type of content is here to stay. In fact, the platform also introduced the concept of Community Generated Entertainment (CGE). Mobile-first video resonates with communities of all types and sizes and often finds the right audiences because TikTok’s algorithm is based on a content graph as opposed to a social graph.

If you want to make your mark on the app, don’t forget to bookmark the latest new season of its ‘Made for TikTok’ ad tips series. Featuring a brand new late-night talk show format, the episodes will include a unique group of creators and experts.

TikTok adds LIVE subscriptions for creators, opening more avenues of monetisation. Fab and Jess also discuss the pros and cons of TikTok adding a new set of social media management platforms to its Marketing Partners Program. You’ll be able to access the analytics schedule and publish content to TikTok from your platform of choice.
