I am a huge fan of Notion. Notion controls my entire brain!
YouTube is one of my favorite ways to learn and unwind. I love DIY and home improvement, productivity and planning, makeup and thrifted fashion, parenting and health.

By leveraging brand messaging strategy and marketing consulting, my goal is for entrepreneurs to take confident, meaningful action to connect with their audience, show up consistently, and share their brand with ease.

I’m based in Central Illinois (US), my husband is from Senegal, and we have a baby girl!

What are you looking for right now?

Excited to welcome new speaking and joint workshop opportunities. If you have an idea hit me up!

Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration

I work with conscious and caring business owners, social entrepreneurs, and nonprofit leaders who want to get more visible and share their brand with ease. My clients are super smart, accomplished, ambitious people.

They’re often multi-passionate and need outside perspective to find the common thread between all their experiences. I filter everything in their head and heart into a cohesive brand so they can take confident, meaningful action toward their vision.

What one piece of advice would you give to someone starting out?

Lead with your values. That’s how you’re going to stand out and connect on a human level with the people you want to reach. Values cut through all the clutter and go straight to the heart of what you and your audience care about. They’re the common thread between all your content pieces, all your offerings, partnerships, everything.

What is one challenge are you glad you experienced?

Selling has been one of the hardest parts of running a business, but it’s revealed a lot of mindset blocks and shifts in perspective for me!

What’s your go-to emoji, and what does it mean to you?

🙃 – I’m able to see the humor in things and a change in perspective does us good sometimes!

Describe Alt Marketing School in one word

Variety

What have you learned since taking the certification?

I haven’t been as audience-centric in my content and SEO as I should be. I want to do more with voice of customer and addressing what my ideal clients are actually searching for and wanting.

How did the course support you in making marketing systems better?

I liked the concept of the monthly/quarterly KPI tracking—it was so simple, but brought big-picture, general goals into something measurable. I also liked breaking down the awareness, conversion, and retention efforts by platform because it made me realize where I had some misalignment and where I should double down.
